Julie is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Registered Play Therapist dedicated to helping children, teens, young adults, and their parents to navigate emotional and behavioral challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care.

She takes a collaborative and prescriptive approach to therapy, working closely with clients to tailor strategies that align with their unique needs, strengths, and goals. As an affirming ally of LGBTQI+ communities, Julie provides an inclusive space where all individuals feel seen, respected, and supported.

She is certified in PEERS® for Adolescents, an evidence-based social skills program for middle and high school students, and in OCD treatment, using a blend of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Julie also offers SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), a structured, parent-based treatment model for anxiety, OCD, and related concerns.

As a Registered Play Therapist, Julie incorporates play as a powerful therapeutic tool for children, helping them express emotions, develop coping skills, and build self-confidence through developmentally appropriate methods.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology (with a minor in Child & Family Studies) from St. Cloud State University and earned her Master of Arts in Counseling & Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
