Amanda is a warm, compassionate, and highly skilled licensed therapist with more than 18 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most meaningful and challenging moments. With extensive experience working with adults, teens, children, and parents, she is known for her grounded presence, direct communication style, and her ability to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.
Amanda specializes in working with clients who are navigating relational and attachment concerns, healing from trauma, and seeking guidance in their parenting journeys. She also supports individuals experiencing prenatal or postpartum anxiety, depression, and/or grief/loss; those struggling with sexual addiction or coping with relational betrayal and infidelity; and clients interested in exploring and deepening their identities.
Amanda’s therapeutic approach is relationship-based and grounded in safety, trust, and openness. Amanda draws upon somatic principles, Internal Family Systems (parts work) and psychodynamic therapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), sexual addiction therapy, experiential play therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. She integrates these evidence-based modalities to help clients process distressing experiences, cultivate self-compassion, and build healthier patterns of connection.
Amanda offers an inclusive, affirming space and welcomes people from all walks of life. With warmth and authenticity, she meets each client where they are, honoring their lived experience and supporting their capacity for growth and transformation. Whether clients are seeking healing, clarity, or meaningful change, Amanda strives to provide a supportive and deeply human therapeutic environment.
