Anna has worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2006. She received her undergraduate training at Luther College and graduate training at Bethel Seminary. Her journey as a therapist has taken her through a variety of settings, including time spent in a pasture alongside horses—her first love—where she practiced equine-assisted psychotherapy and witnessed the profound healing that can unfold through connection, presence, and trust.
Her work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (Level 2 trained), a modality her clients often describe as deeply transformative. She is also trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She especially enjoys weaving these approaches together to support deep healing, resilience, and self-discovery.
Anna believes wholeheartedly in her clients’ innate capacity to heal and is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where all parts of the self are welcome. She supports clients in learning to manage stress more effectively, navigate change and uncertainty, relate to emotions with greater skill and flexibility, and gently tend to unhealed wounds or past trauma that may be impacting the present. Through this work, clients are invited to reconnect with their inner wisdom and move toward greater freedom, wholeness, and the life they were created to live. Anna works with individuals ages 18 and older.
Anna is deeply passionate about her work and committed to continual learning and growth. While not working, she loves thrifting, creating things with her sewing machine or table saw, and spending time with her family and assortment of pets.
Anna is starting at Vantage Mental Health on Feb 2nd 2026 and will be open to new clients closer to that date.
