Sydney is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) with extensive experience supporting individuals in community settings, schools, and therapeutic classrooms. She works with children ages 7 and older, adolescents, and adults. As a proud member of the BIPOC community, Sydney is committed to creating a welcoming, affirming environment where people of all backgrounds and identities can feel heard, respected, and supported.
Sydney believes every person’s story deserves to be understood within the context of their own experiences, relationships, culture, and values. Even when people face similar challenges, the meaning those experiences hold can be very different. Whether you are navigating trauma, grief, family difficulties, relationship concerns, professional stress, or questions about identity and belonging, she strives to offer a space where you can share openly, at your own pace, without pressure to have everything figured out. She has experience working with individuals who have faced adoption and providing them with adoption-competent approaches. She approaches each person with curiosity and respect, recognizing that a shared identity does not mean a shared story.
Sydney’s approach is person-centered and strengths-based, building a collaborative therapeutic relationship that honors your voice and what you want from therapy. She values taking time to understand your strengths, needs, and priorities so that your work together reflects who you are and what matters most to you. This may include making sense of past experiences, finding ways to manage difficult emotions, strengthening relationships, or exploring how you want to move forward.
Her approach emphasizes connection, collaboration, and respect for your strengths and priorities. Together, you can explore challenges, build understanding, and work toward meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.
In her free time, Sydney enjoys cooking and baking, horseback riding, puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.
Currently, most sessions will be Telehealth only, but this can change over time.
