You may look capable on the outside while privately battling chronic anxiety. This can look like overthinking, perfectionism, constant comparison, compulsive behaviors, or the fear of getting something wrong. Anxiety can also show up in relationships as people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, resentment, or loneliness.
I’ve been there myself. As a child, I was teased for looking and sounding different. I get what it’s like to wonder, “What’s wrong with me?”
My own healing informs the evidence-based therapies I provide today.
I’m Mei-Li (May-Lee), and I work with adults and couples who are anxious high-achievers. My clients are often tired of living in survival mode and want to feel more confident and grounded in their lives and relationships.
My approach is somatic, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I provide research-backed techniques, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, ERP, and IFS.
Together, we’ll help you create meaningful change so you can stop second-guessing yourself, feel more secure in your relationships, and move through life with greater clarity and confidence.
