Kathy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), and she has over 15 years of experience working with individuals and couples. She uses a strengths-based perspective and is eclectic in the modalities she uses, including cognitive behavioral techniques, solution focused, emotionally focused therapy, Gottman theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. She believes in treating the emotional, social, physical, and spiritual components of each individual. She uses a client-centered approach and meets her clients where they are at and explore their individual goals by providing support, teaching coping skills and other strategies for emotional wellbeing and healthy relationships.
Kathy works with adults, and couples. She has special interest in working with those who struggle with grief, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, PTSD, and life transitions.
